Continuing a July 16 public hearing, the Abington Board of Commissioners unanimously approved an ordinance Aug. 20 allowing the creation of a Suburban Industrial Mixed Use Development Overlay District, which effectively covers what's commonly known as the Williard Property, in the 1900 block of Wharton Road. The overlay will not affect any other zoning.
